As soon as you reach the base camp, you are in awe of the view because on one side – it’s the unparalleled beauty of the Dhauladhar Range and on the other side - is the lush green valleys of Kangra.
The trek to the base camp is the best part and it’s a lot more fun when you have a bunch of friends tagging along with you. Instead of rushing to get to the top, the best way to enjoy the whole trek is to ensure that you stop along the way at some of the places to just stand and stare and absorb the beauty around you because it’s simply breathtaking. It’s not so tough as well if you think you are not quite the trekking kinds!
Stay the night at Triund for some of the most spectacular star trails and also to experience the teeth-chattering cold in your colourful tents. Wake up to a gorgeous sunset and head back to Dharamsala.
